![]() ![]() Jayce returned to piltover a hero while Viktor mourned the dead. This might just be my headcanon nerdiness, but I immediately fell in love with the idea of Resistance Jayce. He put two and two together and assumed that Viktor was trying to forcefully transform the citizens into emotionless robots.Īs Jayce began to destroy Viktor's lab to stop this, Viktor send his robots out to kill Jayce while he worked on a cure but in the end Jayce won the fight and destroyed the crystal Viktor had taken and burned his lab, which led to the death of all of Viktor's patients. Not trusting Viktor, Jayce tracked down Viktor's lab and upon stumbling upon a pile of bodies and inactive robots (alternate bodies Viktor had prepared for those who where too far gone to be saved otherwise). Viktor stole a crystal from Jayce after Jayce refused to simply hand it over as he needed it to save hundreds of Zaunites that were afflicted with a decease that was slowly destroying their brain. That's still evil, to just kill them just because.īoth sides of the story are explained in Viktor's and Jayce's story but TL DR, When you lawfully follow those rules with no grey, you end up killing your own party member because he's a rogue and rogues steal, or killing a child because a child stole food. "My rules state I must slay all goblins/criminals no matter what." Is evil. "My rules state I must help the weak no matter what." Is good. ![]() ![]() Kayle follows her laws without hesitation, so she is lawful, but by talking about how she views murders she commits as justice because breaking the law in any capacity is treason or evil, she is lawful evil.Ī lawful good person doesn't break their code because doing so would bring harm to people.Ī lawful evil person doesn't break their rules regardless of if they hurt people. The stupid paladin will kill a goblin party member because "all goblins bad" even though that goblin could be a life cleric who only heals. That's where you get the confusion of a lawful good paladin and a lawful stupid one. Those rules can be law, or they can be a ser of guiding principles, ethics, etc. Lawful in alignment doesn't mean "the law" itself, it means a set of rules that you don't break for anything. JUSTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE We don't need the extra media to show how great and honorable Demacians are because we get an earful every time you lock in Garen and he goes WE MUST DO WHAT IS RIGHT. And on the other side of that coin, because so many Demacians in the game are so blatantly good and noble, the out-of-game media needs to emphasize their darker side to compensate. So because Noxians are mostly blatantly evil inside the game, they need cinematics that show their good side. That's ultimately irrelevant to my point which is, again, that inside the game, he is a blatant good guy. ![]() Galio is overwhelmingly good, sure but he was in like half of one story/cinematic. In the game, she is just a blatant good guy. But most importantly I was talking about her in-game depiction. OK? She's still Demacian, from the readers' point of view she's a good guy, she doesn't want to destroy Demacia she wants to make it better. I know in her mind she’s doing the right thing but from a more objective point of view she’s both a criminal and has betrayed Demacia more than once. She rolls around breaking their laws, freeing Sylas. Lux is basically against Demacia at this point. ![]()
